Nepal’s Energy Transition Gap: A Push Towards Clean Energy

Nepal has 96% electrification, yet 66% of the country still relies on firewood. Only 0.5% of households use electricity for cooking due to poor grid reliability and high costs. To meet 2030 targets, Nepal must shift from "connecting wires" to making clean energy affordable and reliable.
