The Secretariat of the Foreign Employment Board, operating under the Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, has released an announcement inviting applications for an internship program. This opportunity is open for 12 students (6 male and 6 female) who are recent graduates or are currently studying. Priority will be given to those Nepali students whose family members have passed away or are permanently disabled as a result of foreign employment, as per the annual program approved by the Foreign Employment Board for the fiscal year 2081/82.

Minimum qualification required for the internship

1. Must be a descendant of Nepali workers who went to work abroad with a valid work permit, returned or died or were dismembered during work abroad.

2. Should be studying at the undergraduate level in the faculties of education, law, humanities and management in various universities or related educational institutions in Nepal.

3. Should have completed 18 years of age and not more than 25 years of age by the last date of submission of application,

4. Must have basic computer knowledge (computer typing in Nepali and English language, email/internet, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint),

5. Preference will be given to students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent from government and community schools.

Required Documents

1. Certified copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate,

2. Attested copy of merit certificate and character certificate of passing proficiency certificate level or 10+2 or equivalent,

3. Letter of recommendation for internship from an educational institution,

4. Personal details (Biodata/CV/Resume) with passport-size photograph,

5. Photocopy of father's/mother's passport in case of children of workers who went to foreign employment, returned, amputated workers with labor permit and death certificate in case of children of workers who died during foreign employment,

6. In case of passing 10+2 from a government/community school, a letter of recommendation from the same institution.

Location: The Secretariat of the Foreign Employment Board, located at Babarmal, Kathmandu.
Submission Deadline: Applications are to be submitted by 2081/07/30 (Nepali Calendar).
