The First National Child Justice Moot Court Competition 2024, organized by the Nepal Forum for Restorative Justice (NFRJ) in collaboration with National Law College is aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of child justice and restorative justice principles among law students. This flagship Nepali Moot Court Competition is scheduled for November 15-16, 2024, and offers participants a unique opportunity to engage in simulated court proceedings, enhancing their legal advocacy skills while exploring innovative approaches to justice for children.
Nepal Forum for Restorative Justice (NFRJ) is Nepal's pioneering non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting restorative justice, dialogue, and peacebuilding. Since its inception, NFRJ has been instrumental in advocating for the principles and practices of restorative justice across judicial and non-judicial sectors in Nepal. The forum actively works on the transformation of justice and conflict resolution at international, regional, and national levels, striving to introduce new dimensions of justice. NFRJ has been engaged in various initiatives, including programs for juvenile correction centres and probation assistance at the Lalitpur District Court.
